Expired2016 Fall Session – Modern Dental Assisting

This is the third and LAST session of Modern Dental Assisting for 2016. This course meets all day Saturday for 11-weeks. Class is held from September 17, 2016 through December 3, 2016. Please note that there is no class on Saturday November 26, 2016 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Class size is small to allow for a lot of hands-on training.  Our instructors are certified DA2s with DANB recognition and also licensed hygienists, and they work during the week in a general dental office so are able to evaluate and teach what is truly most important to know in the “real world.” When you graduate you will have all of the necessary certificates to begin working as an entry-level dental assistant in NC.  You will also get a nitrous oxide certificate which is not required to begin work, but it is helpful and will make you more marketable. Application fee of $45 is nonrefundable and is due online at the time you register. You are not asked for an interview until the application fee is paid. The $45 application fee does not mean that you are automatically enrolled in the course. Upon acceptance into the program an additional $350 will be due at the informal interview/tour  to reserve your seat. Only after you have come for a tour/informal interview with the doctor/director and then paid the $350 deposit will you be considered enrolled in the class. An OFFICIAL  high school transcript needs to be sent directly from your high school before the first day of class. A copy of your high school diploma is no longer acceptable, as per the North Carolina Community College System.
