This is a HYBRID 2-day SATURDAY/SATURDAY certificate course (7 hours LIVE lecture from your home via Zoom/7 hours clinical work on manikins physically at the school) that satisfies the requirements of the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners allowing students who successfully complete both days of the course to legally take dental radiographs in a North Carolina clinical setting.  No experience is necessary. The written exam is an online multiple-choice test that is open for students to complete once lecture is finished.  A grade of 70% or higher on the written exam is necessary  to take the clinical portion of class.

We offer this course approximately every 3 months.

If a student holds a dental radiography certificate from another state or if a student is a foreign dentist, he/she is eligible to register for the single-day Challenge Exam Course instead which includes the hands-on clinical proficiency and testing portion only (no lecture). Registration for the challenge exam day is available on this website.

Please note that a student is not considered enrolled in the course unless full payment is received.  A student must be at least a high school graduate or equivalent, and will need to upload this proof into a portal we will send via email once enrolled.
