This single-day class on Saturday is designed for dental assistants who have already received a dental radiography certificate from another state and need a North Carolina dental radiography certificate to work in NC.  These students do not need to sit through Friday’s lecture. A copy of an out-of-state dental radiography certificate must be faxed or emailed to us before the class date. A written, multiple-choice exam that has been approved by the NC State Board of Dental Examiners will be given (textbook can be borrowed that morning to use for the test). Also, a full-mouth series of radiographs (digital and film) will  be taken on a manikin. A North Carolina Dental Radiography certificate is given at the end of the day, upon successful completion of both the written and clinical tests.  Please note that a student is not considered enrolled for the class unless full payment has been received.
