  • 2018 Winter/SpringSession - Modern Dental Assisting
    March 10, 2018 - June 2, 2018
    8:00 am - 5:00 pm

This is the first of two sessions offered in 2018 of the Modern Dental Assisting course to become a DA1. This course meets all day on Saturday (8AM-5PM)for 11 Saturdays. Class is held from March 10th, 2018 through June 2nd, 2018. Please note that there is no class on Saturday March 31st, 2018 for the Easter/Passover holiday and there is also no class on Saturday May 26th, 2018 for the Memorial Day holiday. Class size is kept small (approximately 12 students) to provide a lot of hands-on training and individualized attention.  Our very personable and approachable instructors are both certified DA2s with DANB recognition and also licensed dental hygienists; they work during the week in a general dental office and are thus able to evaluate and teach what is truly most important to know in the “real world.” When you graduate you will have all of the necessary certificates to begin working as an entry-level dental assistant in NC.  In addition, you will also get a nitrous oxide analgesia monitoring certificate which is not required to begin work, but it is helpful and will make you more marketable. Application fee of $45 is nonrefundable and is due online at the time you register. Payment of the $45 application fee DOES NOT mean that you are automatically enrolled in the course. You cannot schedule an interview/tour until we have notified you that we have received your registration and $45 application fee. Upon acceptance into the program an additional $350 will be due at the informal interview/tour to reserve your seat. Only after you have come for a tour/informal interview with the doctor/director and you are told at that time that you have been accepted will you be eligible to pay the $350 deposit that will hold your seat in the session. An OFFICIAL  HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT OR GED needs to be sent directly from your high school to our school before the course date. This course is geared towards students with no dental experience. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we will not be able to accept NCWORKS, WIOA grants for this session.
